Rohan's Rehabilitation
Story
Rohan (by his owner,
Elizabeth DuFresne)
Rohan arrived to
NHF in the summer of 2007 as a hunter prospect for one of Grace's
students. After failing his pre-purchase exam due to overall
soreness and poor body condition, Rohan began his journey. He spent
months with myotherapy, long-lining, and slow and proper
reconditioning. His body evolved and as his training progressed, so
did his spirit. Rohan went from a dull and lifeless horse,
to a spirited and happy horse within a few months. His expressive
eyes now gleam with interest in his life and his surroundings. His
"dream team" of NHF staff, farrier, veterinarian, and chiropractor
have forever changed his life. From being featured in December
2007's Massachusetts Horse Magazine for his fantastic
rehabilitation, to scoring a 70% and winning his very first dressage
test in 2008, Rohan is proof of NHF's successful rehabilitation
program.
