Pony Lover's Class For Ages
4-7
Northern High Farm is a
beautiful 27-stall farm situated in Brookfield, MA. We are
offering a Pony Lover's Class for children ages 4-7yrs old who love
horses and would like to spend more time with them!!
Pony Lover's is a 4-week
session for those children who have not had lessons.
Classes are on
Mondays from
5-6pm, with new sessions
starting soon! Classes include all aspects of safe horse
handling, grooming, tacking and leading. Each class ends with
a mini-lesson for each child and is taught by a MA Licensed
Instructor! The very low cost of
$100/child will cover the full 4 week
session!
Space is limited to 4
children a session.

On February 28th,
Northern High Farm welcomed Anthony "Tony" Cooper, master
saddle fitter, for a
very informational clinic.
While here, Tony
graciously performed free consultations for a
number of clients. Tony received his saddlery training in London,
and was elected Guild of Master
Craftsmen. He has made saddle reproductions for Sturbridge Village
and restoration work for
the Smithsonian Institute. Tony has been making, fitting, and
repairing saddles for over 20
years and in the leather industry since 1969. His primary goal as
a saddler has been to improve the
comfort of the horse by adjusting the saddle to correctly fit the
contours of the horse's
back.
Tony can fit saddles,
refurbish, and rebuild parts of the saddle including restuffing,
converting foam panels to wool,
replacing worn parts of the saddle, add large knee rolls, enlarge
panels with gussets, and
